Darrien was an old D&D character of mine. He was a mix of rogue and fighter specifically designed to get to the Arcane Archer prestige class that I'd always wanted to play.
He claimed his surname was Smitevil but even his traveling companions doubted it because he often caused as much evil as he smited. Not so much because he liked to cause suffering but because he was just kind of a jerk. Fun to role play though.
One of my grandest role-playing moments was having Darrien slay a dragon while suspended upside down 100 feet in the air. Ah, good times. haha!
